The Medical Humanities Research Institute was awarded matching seed funding by Rice Global for a collaborative research exchange with Centre Maurice Halbwachs (CMH) and École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE). The funding initiative is a result of the 2024 Memorandum of Understanding and collaboration agreement with Université PSL (Paris Sciences et Lettres) in France, a leading research university. Funding will be used for a research and training exchange between faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and medical trainees between Rice University, the Texas Medical Center, and several institutions within Université PSL.
